God gave us our little miracle Baby Due Aug 12th Asked: 17 weeks pregnant, and my dog jumped right on my stomach…..?
So as I stated im 17w2d's pregnant…last night when my dog (beagle about 25 lbs) came into the house he ran and jumped right on my stomach! So worried that the baby isint okay. I dont hurt at all but obviously at the time it did. Will the baby be okay?!! We have our next appt 18 weeks on Monday!

Most likely nothing happened.I encounter this a lot with my 50 pound preschooler (but I do discourage him of course from doing this lol).

I hope you'll be ok. Not to scare you but I miscarried a few months ago from accidentally getting hit in the stomach with an inanimate object. I was 12wks. Def ask your doctor.

No worries. For an impact to the stomach to be hard enough to hurt the baby at this stage, the impact would have to be hard enough to nearly kill you. The baby is under layers of skin, veins, 3 layers of muscle and the amniotic sac, and girded by the pelvic bones. .. but train that dog, because excitable dogs really can hurt babies that are already born.
