i have a job at chicken chef in a small town.i have been working for two months and get along with most people that work there except for one person. this woman is about fifty years old and she complains about everything. anything that she hasnt done is done wrong. she is a prep cook and i am a dishwasher. last night someone left the pizza oven on and the restaurant almost burned down. she left me a four page note detailing everything that i have done wrong, including not turning the pizza oven and other equipment off. the funny thing is, the night the pizza oven was left on, i wasnt even working! there are two new dishwashers and they dont know everything yet. when they put things away in the wrong places i get blamed. i have also found out that a bunch of employees are saying that i talk too much and dont work fast enough. but everyone i work with talks about their girlfriend/wife/husband/kids/house/dog/l after two months of working i feel like i know almost everything about everyone that i work with! i dont walk nearly as much as my employees do, the only thing i talk about is work, when i ask how to do things or what im doing wrong or if the restaurant has been busy or slow today, and occasional small talk when other employees start a conversation with me. it seems like basically everyone i work with feels the need to ***** about everyone and i cant stand it. i hate gossip so everytime someone tries to gossip about someone else i try to say something nice about the person they are verbally bashing, or i straight up say that i dont like to gossip and dont wish to talk about other people when they arent there to defend themselves. i havent been formally trained so im basically learning something new everyday. this difficult woman expects me to know how to do everything by magic i guess. also she expects me to do stuff that isnt even in my job description. the manager of the restaurant is too nice and lets this womantreat me badly. im honestly considering finding a new job, because i hate being blamed for everything and being surounded by people that talk about everything and im sick and tired of hearing about all these bad things that im supposedly doing. im a dishwasher at chicken chef, not a surgeon. i havent been trained and im the newest person there. people should give me a break or they should properly train me .
