Chewing after SARPE surgery?
Emsie Asked: Chewing after SARPE surgery?
I had my SARPE surgery done almost 4 weeks ago
SOO, the first week I didn't eat anything but soup and ice cream (occasionally) then, the second week I was eating pancakes and some softer things. But, the third week I was chewing bread, (well not chewing, just softening by not completely biting all the way down), softer waffles, and breaking up things like sandwiches and hot dogs.I was wondering if that was okay? I can'tchew on anything hard like pretzels, crackers or things like lettuce or cookies. Am I chewing more than I should be? the doc told me soft foods for 6 weeks but honestly if i break things up small enough and not super hard foods, I can somewhat chew them. Now, I am still expanding and I was wondering if by chewing that could mess up my teeth? Can chewing make it out of place or make me relapse? I'M WORRIED. BUT SO HUNGRY…haha. And all the foods the doc wants me to eat are carbs. Any suggestions for foods if I should stop the soft chweing? haha, well thanks

If you can't take a hint like that, buy batteries.
This is a hint not as wide as a barn door, but a hangar to park B 747's.
