Do you think I have fleas..?
Mikki Asked: Do you think I have fleas..?
I've been staying the night at my boyfriend's house for a couple of days and his animals are dying probably from heart worms. I'm 99% positive they also have fleas. His 2 cats and his dog sleep on his bed and he can't find his sheets so his bed is stripped. He takes bad care of his bedding so he washes them not so often. I've been around his animals and I've been sleeping on his bed. Ever since I've been staying the night I've been getting these itchy mosquito-bite-looking things on my ankles and on the back of my thighs. I have 2 or 3 on my stomach and 5 on my head. I've been taking showers regularly (everyday) and I haven't been outside much. Is it possible these could be fleas? Will they go away on their own or do I need treatment? Should I stop staying the night at his house? Will the fleas use MY pets as new hosts? HELP ME PLEASE … I put 1% Hydrocortisone cream all over my legs, will that do anything?

Unfortunately, it sounds like bed bugs. They do go away on their own(the biteS) but if the home is infected dont stay there!!! Check the beds + box springs…tops of beds under all around!!!!!!! Get the home treated by a trained professional.
