How can I convince my mum to let me have some pet mice?

okay so I have many pets such as 7 guinea pigs, a giant rabbit, a syrian hamster, 2 dogs, an african grey parrot and also a dog. I am a responsible pet owner and care very much about mine. the pets I own myself are my guinea pigs and my hamster, I pay for their things apart from the 15 bag of food and 10 bag of wood shavings. I would love to have 2 female mice, I already know about caring for them and how much everything would cost. all I would need is the cage and the mouse food. another question, is mouse and gerbil mix okay? or do you think i should get just mouse food as it is made especially for them. so yeah I would like some idea's on how to convince my mum that I will look after them and pay for everything myself. I can buy a small bag of wood shavings and bedding and food myself, I would only need the money for the cage and the actual mice. thank you!
