Alright, well, in my previous question, you all know that i was invited to a wedding in Michigan and that my cousins/best friend is/are going to take me and i can stay with them. the problem now is my parents. They are refusing and screaming at me. All of my friends are in Disney Land in Florida on a school trip that i couldn't go to. So I think that I should be able to go to Michigan on a FREE trip with my best friend to my cousins wedding. They just think that I'll inadvertently die while I'm onthe trip. so, I need some help. I've got like, three to four days and then they're (my cousins) leaving. My plan is to clean the dining room and living room, along with the kitchen and possibly the main bathroom. Then, I'll also get the hotel information (name, room, room phone number, hotel phone number, etc.) from my cousins and give them to my parents. Then I am going to st down and LIKE AN ADULT talk to them about how I'll be fine and I'll stay with them and I can wear a dog leash if they want me to, and I'll call when i get up in the morning, before the wedding, after the wedding, at night, anytime we go out to eat, etc. So they won't miss out on anything. And there can be a thing where like, I call them everyday at five. And if I miss a day or something, I can be punished when I get home and not go on any more trips. HOWEVER. My parents are the most stubborn people ALIVE. So, I'm not sure if this will 100% work. So, any ideas of what more I could do, or any input on my ideas now? Thank you!! My advice to you is scense they are both small breeds and can't jump baby gates, put them each in two connecting rooms, and put a baby gate inbetween in the doorway.That way, they can meet eachother, smeel eachother, get used to eachother, etc. without being able to attack eachother. Keep them like this for a few days, or until they seem okay. Also, try putting the female in with the pug so that the male sees that the pug isn't going to hurt the female, and maybe the male will feel more comfortable knowing the pug isn't aggresive. Just give it time!
Rub the pug on a blanket and lay the blanket on the aggressive males bed the male will hopefully get used to the pups scent and can start letting the pug in with in a few days. Also do not force them to meet. Put the pug in the same room as the dogs and make sure u r there to protect the pup just in case. Let the pug venture round and maybe then the male dog may come up to the pug.
