Okay so me and my friend were watching T.V this morning and we heard footsteps coming from the kitchen, the door was closed and the kitchen is right next to the living room, I think my dog herd it to because she rushed over to the door and stood their like she wanted down to the kitchen. I ran over to but the slide lock on the door but about 15 mins later I opend and cheeked the kitchen to see if their was an intruder but there was nothing there. So me and my friend thought everything was back to normal we went ad played Zumba and about 20 mins into playing it my friend saw the handle push up and the door opened slightly, also no windows were open so there was no wind about, we were very freaked out could their be a reasonable explanation to this, thanks for any answers.

I don't know how long you have lived in your house,do you know if someone ever died in your house.It could be a sprit,but i don't think its a bad one or it would try to hurt you.Just be careful.Keep your eyes open.

it's probably just a friendly ghost who's been there long before you were born. you didn't say how long you lived there but i think that if it was a mean ghost, you would of knew about it soon after you moved in.. you didn't mention your dog barking, just another indication of it being a friendly ghost.. no worries all of you can live together peacefully..
