I need some words of encouragement about my life and family…?
Asked: I need some words of encouragement about my life and family…?
I am to retire (medical) for the Army at age 22 and I do have a lot of options open to me about the work field and school. When I first came into the service 3 years ago I was working with animals in Sam Houston and loved it. So I thought when I got out that I would go back to school and become a Veterinarian because of my new found love for animals.
However, I feel like I am in a dilemma, I go back home this week because school doesn't start until January. Its not paying for school, It is everything else that is going to be in the way. I still have a car payment. I want to go so bad though. I told my family that I would stay home, but I don't want to because I feel like I will be giving up something that I really love instead trying to chase some dream of becoming an Astronaut. Becoming and Astronaut is incredibly hard and I don't want to dedicate all of my time to it and not become one in the future. It is possible to become one though and If I could make my dreams come true with hard work and dedication, I will be happy because that's all I ever wanted to do.
I really can have both, focus on becoming an Astronaut and still be able to my dogs. I think if I focus on making my dreams come true, I would be content with my life.
Anybody have some words of encouragement?

Listen to me my friend: Chasing after your dreams will be difficult. It is difficult to wait, but it's even more difficult to regret. How many lives do you have? Why would you give up on something you dream about? Do you think you will have another chance? I think that if you get in and study to become AN ASTRONAUT, you WILL study hard, and you WILL get a diploma, and you WILL be an astronaut! Why wouldn't you? Give me one reason… If you got in, you work your *** off, and you will be whatever you wanna be! Listen my friend, life is simple. It's difficult, but it's simple. You want something, you go after it. I'm 23. I want to chase after my dreams, but I still have one year left before doing that, because I live in a country where it's almost impossible, but I won't loose faith. You will be happy if you do what you love, so do it! Seize the day, what are yoou waiting for? We got what? 80 years? 90? 100 if we're lucky? You think it's enough? It's not enough! There are SO MANY THINGS in this life to see, to discover, to learn, to know! So much love to feel, so much joy, but also pain! It's not gonna be easy, but you gotta want that, everyday, it has to be in your skin, you have to feel it in every inch of your body! Don't do it for the fame, don't do it for the money, do it for your heart!! Remember, life is simple!
