Moving to Chicago for school?
Michelle Asked: Moving to Chicago for school?
I just receieved an early acceptance letter so I don't feel like I have much time. I'm looking for a safe neighborhood but again I don't have much to spend. I would go for student housing but I've been told it's more expensive than finding my own place. Also considered joint living conditions but I have a small dog and problems with messy people and have some social anxiety.
I would be willing to live outside of Chicago but not as far as I do live now. (it takes me about 1 hour to get to Chicago from my house now) I'm not looking for exact places but maybe some recomendations for some neighborhoods.
Thanks!

Buy him a regular dog bed rather than trying to scatter stuff on the floor.
Try cheap beach towels. You can wash them whenever their dirty.
ABout your dogs energy level, try to give him more excercise. Take him for a long walk, or play a game of fetch for a while. He just needs to get more excercise, and with that he can become a great dog.
i have the same problem with my dog to & I just used hay & have been doing so for quite awhile… it works just fine. Plus it it keeps her warm.
Pomeranians are very high energy dogs – had you researched first, you would know this.
The way to calm him down is to *exercise* him. Both mentally and physically. Get him involved in obedience or agility and commit. Take him on long walks. Play in the backyard. I don't know where the idea came from that these are simply lay around lap dogs, but they are *not*.
In regards to your question, there are no beddings that are ideal for this. Pomeranians should not be outdoors. Exercise him like I said and buy him a crate and *crate* him, indoors, at night.
Try chips, litter, and on top an old blanket or a dog bed
I'm sorry for your dog that his owner doesn't have the time or interest to properly excerise him on a daily basis so he'd come in the house and crash. Instead his owner's concern is, since the dog has been banished to the garage should he sleep on kitty litter or wood chips.
