Asked: my dog dug a hole next to his recently burried sister and hes slept there all day sad?
she passed 2 or 3 weeks ago?
why did he do that?
he dug a hole to sleep in?
is it because its hot out maybe? or I just gave him a flea bath?
hes allergic to flea shampoo so I have to use other methods and head and shoulders with flea sprays.
Anyway…why did he do that?
also he likes to sleep in bathtubs?
because its cooler I assume?
but it was odd he dug next to her grave.
he never dug on her grave after she was burried there. only on the first day he saw her burried there .
is this his way of grieving??
so I give him another bath and he run to the dirt again….

Honestly it's not fleas, perhaps the heat but I think is your dog is grieving, As much as some people would think, animals have feelings and people tend to ignore them. Just give your dog love and a caring heart and he should be back on his paws, happy and playful, in no time.
He just miss his sister u cant blame him they brother and sister. they play together since they where baby's so they have feelings for each other strong feelings like me and my dog i only had her for a year and 7 months but i never left her alone in the house more the 6 hours cause i need to go to school. and i did not lock her up when im at school i let her out in the living room let her walk around sleep where she wants.She sleeps with me at night and watch tv with me. This is the 1st time i every left her more then 12 hours ugh. she going to be so pissed at me.what im trying to say is they have a strong bond and it just been broken cause she left him and he alone now.He just feel lonely and he wants her back. how old is he? if he a few week old he should be fine soon cause they did not really hang out that much it all depends on how much time they spend together. Like my dog never leave me once i get home im with her. homework she on my lap dinner she on the floor shower she out side the door.
no such thing as a "mini"
she may just be small..dogs are not made with cookie cutters.Some individuals may be smaller or bigger than what the breed is suppossed to be.. it happens sometimes.
Goldens are not reallyhuge dogs..AKC standard states that females are 21 1/2 – 22 1/2 inches at the shoulder..thats under 2 feet at the shoulder.
he could just be a petite golden. I have a siberian husky and everyone tells me she looks small for her breed. she is 50 lbs which is average for a female, but she does look smaller then most huskies haha
at a year old your dog should be full grown, but i guess it just depends on the dog, nothing wrong with a small golden
