I believe that you should take her to a vet and find out because it could be something serious.

I would just leave it until you have the money to take her to the vet. The whole string thing- I get what you're saying, but chances are it won't do anything but make her uncomfortable. It could be just a cyst that doesn't even need attention and you tied a string around it….. which will just make her tender in that area.

That is a terrible thing to do.It will become very painful for your dog.Take the string off.Call you vet and explain the situation.Ask if it is something that is dangerous and if removal can wait until you earn the money to pay for it's removal, or if it needs to be removed immediately, ask if you can pay in installments.

it might be a cyst. since her circulation is cut off it should be numb. try cutting a small hole in it (not enough to bleed) and try squeezing it. if puss comes out its fine. if blood does she really REALLY might need to go to the vet because it could be a cancerous growth (or non-cancerous you really just need it looked at). no matter what though don't continue cutting off the circulation. it is very harmful.
