so i have a pitpull lab mix and hes usually not afraid of anything but i came home at midnight on new years and he was terribley shaking and panting. this lasted for two more hours even when i was holding him. today he wont leave my side and he still seems worried how do i help him? and did this happen to any of you?

Fireworks maybe ? Some dogs happen to be scared of thunder. Among those, some confuse fireworks with thunder and are scared as well. Now on New Year's Eve there has been firworks in a lot of places.
