I love my dog very much. My late father got us our now 11-year-old dog for Christmas in 2000. He's a golden retriever. He suffers from some usual cases of age. He has arthritis, but it isn't severe, as he has no problem running up to me when he gets excited. He also has a benign tumor on his ear, but it's not a big deal.

Ever since my father passed away 8 months ago, we've had endless financial problems, and we were threatened by our landlord to leave our house immediately. Even when we couldn't take him for walks for a while, my dog had an absolutely humongous backyard to run around in. Our backyard has 7 levels of trees and grass to run around in, with stairs that connect each level (it's kind of difficult to describe). This has been good for him and his arthritis, I guess.

Well anyways, my mom and my brother want to put him down, because we're moving into a townhouse that only allows small pets. We can't put him in a shelter because they'd put him down.

I have 3 days to stop my brother and my mom….

I know he has some issues, but I KNOW it's not his time yet. What should I do?
