I have tried many times to teach her not to take things off of my desk and whatnot, but it's near impossible to teach her when I can never catch her in the act because she does it when I'm gone. Left to myself, I should have thought that both B and D follow. If (1) all education majors student teach, then since (from 2) double majors – all double majors, implicitly – are education majors, all double majors student teach : so D. Since all of those with double majors student teach, then (since, following Russell, 'all' implies 'some') B follows. D doesn't follow if double majors outside the group are included in the scope of D. But then, if the author is trading on this it rather twists the natural reading of the example.

The author's explanation seems to me the same as saying 'All dogs in this yard bark; some dogs in this yard have two tails; therefore some dogs with two tails in this yard bark'. That's true but it's also true (and why not make the stronger statement ?) 'All dogs with two tails in this yard bark'. False paralellism ? I can't see it.

I had a dream lastnight that there were cats that lived outside of my house, and anytime I anyone went outside they'd try to kill us. There was a tiger as there leader, and there was basically a hoard of angry cats.
They were also trying to kill my pets, and in part of my dream they tore my dog in half before I could save him.
There was also a part were I found some kittens that hadn't turned evil yet and I was trying to save them. They were surround this box, and when I opened it there was a bunch of dead newborn kittens. In my dream I was freaking out and crying at this point.

Overall, there was alot of sadness and scaredness in the dream. I dream about saving cats often, but they've never been so visious. Does anyone know what this could mean?

V Asked: Mum dog and puppy not getting along together… HELP?

So basically our dog ran away for a little while once and a few weeks after we got her back we realised she was having puppies. After three puppies were born, we decided to keep one of the three newborns-a girl- with us. Unfortunately, after the puppy was seperated from the other two, she started becoming aggressive towards her mother: she constantly bites her legs, ears and nose, occasionally even her tail- basically every piece of the mother she can grab. The older dog does nothing to defend herself, even though she is in pain, but will just try and avoid being continously bitten. at times the mother does snap back at the puppy, especially after a long day of biting and fighting and being chased around by the daughter. She's even developed the habit of hiding underneath the bedsheets to try and avoid the younger pup.

The two can't seem to get along together even with regards food: the pup will eat her mother's food and sometimes even steal this from her mouth. We are all concerned and can't take it any more. What should we do? Please help :/
