Asked: What do I do when our new manager is borderline harassing me?

I know it's long and a lot to read, but please, I really need help.

I work at an animal hospital for over a year and a half now. For the first year and three months were great, we had an amazing manager, she would defend us and stand up for us. But when we needed it she would confront us. There was a mishap with her and another employee so she resigned as manager and about a month later we got a new manager. At first he was great and we got along great. If i had an issue I would go to him, it seemed like he was going to be a good choice. But in the last four or five weeks, it seems like he did a complete turn-a-round.

I had a list of about 10 different things. I found another job and was going to put in my two-weeks notice. I didn't feel right about it because I love my job and the only reason why I wanted to leave was because of our new manager. So I brought my list to our office manager, who is above our new manager. With my list, she either already knew about some of the things, justified some of them, and what she didn't know about she told me that she would talk to him about it. I felt so much better that I didn't turn my notice in and decided to stay.

That Saturday, I needed to collect a fecal sample from one of our dogs. It was a crazy dog so I put the container in my pocket and walked the dog. He did his business and I brought him back inside. It wasn't till a few moments later that I realized that I forgot to collect the sample. I hung it back on the door and thought "well he has to go again at lunch or even later after that." I didn't think it would be that big of a deal. I was trying to discuss something with a co-worker when our manager comes around the corner, gets right in my face and starts yelling at me. Saying how he can't defend us when we make mistakes like this, and that it makes us look like "******* idiots" this went on for about 5 minutes. I tried going to get the sample since I remembered where he defecated. As i was leaving he continued to yell at me. The rest of the time he was there he was going after me. I worked by myself on a Saturday night, I did everything I was suppose to do and I left work. On Sunday, my day off, he calls multiple times to find out what time times. I asked him if it was an emergency, he said it wasn't so I told him when I left. He then went after me again. Saying that I left the place a mess, that I didn't do any laundry, and that I need to be a team player.

I am always slaving away for this place. When ever someone asks me to do something I do it. I am always doing things for other people. Where our manager doesn't do anything to help us and he has left the place a mess multiple times. So out of the full year and a half of working there, I have never had any issues and it wasn't until we got a new manager that apparently I started having issues.
I am getting so discouraged at this place because I don't want him to run me off because I love my job and working with him is making my life almost a living hell.

So what do I do? I have already talked to two people above him and it seems like it is just making things worse.

Asked: Advice please! Close family friends, awkwardness with paying for meals, days out etc?

Sorry this is a bit long but please bear with me, I'd really appreciate some advice!

Ok so, basically my parents are very close friends with a couple (let's call them Clare and Simon) and their daughter. I am 17, she is 13.
I am also really close to Clare, we sometimes go out for coffee which she'd offer to buy, she's a bit like a second Mum to me and she gets me to babysit her daughter sometimes. I also get on really well with her daughter, she's just like a sister to me. I also help her with her homework too. I probably see them 2-3 a week. Sometimes with my parents being there too, and sometimes just me on my own, helping their daughter with her homework or if I get invited on a day out with them when my parents are at work.
However, I don't always think Simon likes me being around and that he doesn't like how Clare would buy me coffee etc, because she's a really generous person.
I'll try put it into context:
I looked after their house, their cat and dog for a few days when they were on holiday. Clare bought me a 50 pair of shoes to say thank you even though I had told her not to and I didn't mind doing it because she's my friend and she's done a lot for me and my family. Anyway, she wouldn't take no for an answer and got me them. However, she jokingly told me not to tell Simon because he's a bit tight with his money. Anyway, she caved in and told Simon and he had no choice but to accept it.
Also, I got invited with them to go to our local shopping centre a few weeks ago. We went into a coffee shop and Clare went to sit down and get a table with her other friend who she had also brought with her on the day. Me, Simon and their daughter were queuing up, and I offered to pay for my drink anyway so that was that, but Simon bought everyone else a drink which is fair enough, I have no problems. Then we went for a lunch in the food court, Clare told Simon to give me and his daughter some money to get our food but because he's quite frugal he made it awkward and didn't want to give me any, again, not a problem, I had money to pay for my own anyway. Then, we went back to a cafe and I didn't want another drink so I just went to sit down with Clare and her friend whilst Simon went to get the drinks. Clare then turned to Simon and said, Simon, did you not even offer to get Chloe a drink?! I said it was fine and I didn't want one anyway and Clare was annoyed with him. Then, she dropped me off home on my own and she said, I'm sorry Simon didn't get you lunch today and I said it was fine, because it really was.

The thing that's bothering me, is how I'm causing friction between everyone because Clare wants to buy me things but Simon understandably doesn't. It makes me feel super awkward and takes the enjoyment out of the day and being in their company. I don't know what to do about it and because Clare always insists, I'm starting to get the feeling Simon is fed up of me being around even though I don't really think it's my fault? What should I do?

Asked: Dog doesnt sleep through the night and pees and cries?

I have a 9 week old Doberman.He will go to sleep easily in his cage around 915pm.A couple times a week he will wake up at 3am barking and crying non stop. So i go and let him out, he poops and pees then I put him back in his cage and he will cry and whimper till I get up for work around 530.He does it non stop for 2 hours straight!!I feed him dinner at 430pm and he is let out last before he goes in his cage where he does pee and poop like clock work.Then when I leave at 6am for work I put him back in his cage so my wife and 3 kids can sleep longer. He will then bark and cry till eventually wakes my wife and kids and they let him out.

My question is:Why does he wake up at 3am??Does he really need to go out and do his business? Or is he training me?Can he hold it from 915 to 530 at 9weeks old?Also why does he cry and bark for 2 hours non stop till i get up for work and then again till my wife wakes up?He also pees in his cage during the night and even when my family goes out for a few hours during the day.I let him out and he pees and will run around outside and pee again 10 minutes later. This is my first dog ever so I am new to everything.My main issues are the waking up in the middle of night and the non stop crying when in his cage.

Okey my dog when I'm training her to retrieve I will throw and she won't get get it. Sometimes I will throw it and she will run to it and then come back to it with out the ball or stick.

Asked: Why do people think that doing drugs are bad?

I understand why using heroine, crack, or other extremely addictive drugs is bad and can ruin your life.

But we aren't talking about that.

My question is, why do some people refuse to ever do drugs, and look down on those who do?
Why would someone look at me negatively like there is something wrong with me just because I choose to experiences some of the many pleasures and sensations that the mind and body are capable of producing?

I sometimes use MDMA when I go out and it gives me a great experience, I drink alcohol sometimes, once in a while have a bump of cocaine, smoke a little weed, and every once in a blue moon a take an amazing mushroom journey.

Now I have been living on my own since I was 18, I bought a house when I was 21, I have perfect credit, my bills are always paid on time, I don't steal, lie, or cheat, I started a very successful business when I was 24 and now I make very good money and work from home when I feel like it (which is a lot because I love my business!)

There are some days when I smoke cigarettes and do some drugs and many other days when I do nothing and feel great just from my daily life, my successes, my friends, family, and music.

It seems to me that the people who cannot do drugs and look down on it are just not able to be responsible and have self control. I see a lot of people who are not as happy as I am in my life who don't do drugs.

Why do I need to take drugs to enjoy myself? I don't! Most days I get high from my relationships, music, walks with my dog and wife, making deals/money, delicious food ect! I love life. Why do you need to eat meat to enjoy life? You don't, but sometimes it's nice right? Moderation vs lack of control.

It's dangerous you say? What about rock climbing? Climbing Everest? Sailing? Driving? Surfing? Scuba diving? You could die doing any of these things once, yet they aren't bad.

What about spending your entire life working 9-5, for someone else, making crappy money, at a job you pretend to like? Now that is a truely dangerous waste of life.

It's not the drugs that are bad is it? Or is it people who can't control themselves, use moderation, and be responsible.

Asked: What breed do you think my dog could be?

We just rescued him and I keep getting asked what breed he is. Obviously the center told me what they believed he is however they added "he could be anything". I'm not going to state what they told me as I don't want to influence your opinion. Clearly there is some kinda of bull terrier gene in him but I just wanted to see what people thought. He's just over 1 and a little on the slender side.

What's up yall, I had a pretty ****** up dream last night and was wondering if you could help me shed some light on it(i think i know what it means but its always good to hear different thoughts) assuming you believe dreams have meaning that is lol. Anyways I had this dream where I dont remember how he got into this situation but I saw this guy getting torn to shreds by 3 huge dogs, like dobermans. I was watching him almost as in a movie or at least I was distanced from him like that, like I wasn't actually there. It was horrific, and usually I'm a guy that's sort of insensitive to things like that, like blood and artificial violence and such, but this was disgustingly real, and insanely gory. It felt strange to me though because in real life I love helping people and I wouldn't have been able to see something like that without feeling a responsibility to help, but I didnt here. And when I see sad/disturbing movies I try not to let myself get emotionally upset by it, I can usually keep a straight face, but I just felt disgusted and felt like it was something I shouldn't be seeing, I almost felt attached to the person in a way and I was just hoping he'd die so the pain would end, but he just wouldn't, even when the dogs ripped his throat out he kept screaming somehow, I think I almost felt like I was watching myself, It was ****** terrible. And if you know about dreams in psychology you know that you have 4-5 dreams a night, and the other one I remember was pretty positive. This one was really ****** up for some reason though, usually the dreams I remember are positive or just kinda weird but not this one. What do you think it means? Asked: Re-puppy poops in create?

My puppy is 4 months old and on strict cage rest due to a fractured pelvis, we let him out and take him outside every hour, but as soon as i leave the room or the house he will poop in his create, usually dogs wont poop were they sleep. I think he is doing it to get back at me. How do I get him to stop!!! He isnt aloud to walk a lot, run, jump or play. So I have to keep him in the create. So HOW do I get him so he wont?? HELP!He is fully potty trained!!! He just started pooping in create since starting cage rest! His bed is already dividedto minimal space. Also every time I take him out, he pees and poops, but as soon as I put him back in his bed and leave the room. He poops.

Asked: How can I help my grieving girlfriend?

My girlfriend, who is a grown woman, can't get over the death of her dog. It's been like 5 months and she's still very depressed and crying all the time. It's putting a major strain on our relationship and I've tried to be supportive but nothing I do or say helps her. I feel like she needs professional help but I'm afraid if I suggest that, she'll think that I think she's crazy and it will just make things worse. I've thought about getting her some kind of self help book but I doubt their effectiveness and fear it will only be the same result. I don't know what to do. Should I try tough love? Should I try telling her mom or best friend that she needs help?

My 6 month old pup is vomiting for unknown reasons.

He is not acting different in any way, no loss of energy or appetite, but one or twice a day he just pukes up a small to medium amount, he's done it twice in a row on my bed and on another bed, but he gets down and acts normally.I read about giving pepto bismal 1 tsp per 10 or 20 lbs of dog, give half tsp at one point, other half 4 hrs later. Since yesterday he's had 3 half tsp doses which he fights to take from a dropper but doesn't stay mad at me. We've also been using a supplement product to get him to stop eating his (or his parents) poop, but its not seeming to work… unless anyone has ideas since he isn't acting out of sorts before or after the vomit episode, I figure to give the pepto another day or 2 before going to the vet. Its the weekend anyhow so I have to wait. My mother did tell me that her pup, my pups baby brother has vomited occasionally but seems to be from drinking his own urine when he is crated and can't to pee. My dog isn't crated, has pee pads inside incase of issue before being taken outside, we have no yard so they are leached on a rope contraption so they have some freedom to run, play and relieve themselves.
He is a yorkie terrier pekingese mix if that matters, features show more terrier from mom than anything. He had first parvo shot, but we haven't been able to get him back to vet and they aren't outside for more than 10-20 minutes each time they go out.

Ok, I have a dachshund and he is 2 years old. I've had him since he was 4 months and we always had trouble potty training him. Just recently, he peed all over the living room floor while everyone was in the room and it wasn't even aimed on a corner, it was just all over the middle of the floor. There was a ton of it too, like a ridiculous amount for having him go outside 12 times that day! And he also peed in my bed last night and all over the floor again! What is wrong with him?

I.have a rat terrier who in the last 2 Weeks has been swollen. When I pick her up she grunts when I touch her belly.i listened to her tummy and it makes light squish sound. The only way I can describe it is if you listen to a chicken our duck egg that's fertile and moving embryo. Which is the only thing it resembles…like squish like sound

She is old around 12 and her eating has decreased in the past month. She still eats but sleeps most of the day.

Her spine you can see well and the but bone hop bone protrudes a bit. If you look at her from the side her belly sticks out a bit father than her ribcage..

I can't take her to very until next week a they are booked til then. There is no emergency very in my area over checked the shelters and the nearest one is 1 .5 hr away. I live I'm middle of no where. I would travel but truck is down. My father is in another state who I live with but idk what else I can do but keep her comfortable until next week when my dad drives home so I can take her in.

I did take her for a walk on thetrail in my woods and she loved out. She seems more bright when she its taken out in nice weather.

She also grunts when she is asleep.She had also vomited but nothing came up.

Idk I just hope its old age getting to her.

He loyally follows me around when I'm in the house, and snuggles up to me, but jumps every time my husband moves. I work away from home, and if I'm away for a couple of weeks, jasper warms to my husband and plays with him, even jogs nicely with him, and sits on the sofa with him. Since I have been back, he is so loyal to me he actually runs away from my husband and shakes when he holds him. It's rediculousbehavior, any advice? Also please don't suggest that my husband is cruel to the dog, that isn't the case. Jasper loves Him when I'm away, it's definely something to do with loyalty.
