I have a 5 year old rat terrier mix breed. SHe is feisty I will say that but she hasn't hurt anyone or any pets. Lately, like within the past two months she has been randomly growling at me. Like when I talk to my cat (which is in a babyish voice) she will just look at us and growl from where ever she is. When I first wake up in the morning and I am coming down the stairs, she always sits on the chair, she will just watch me come down the stairs and growl. She stops when I tell her "No". But she will do it every time. She has never attempted to bite me or anyone else. She has on occasion snipped in people's direction, but as a warning, she could've bit them and didn't. She also has recently started growling when I tell her "no" if she is barking or whining at noises outside. Once it scared me, I told her to stop, then she turned and like death stared me and started growling pretty intensely. Still she has never attempted to attack or even bite. She has been to the vet regularly, they say everything is fine. Why is she doing this? Is this just what she does and I am reading into it too much? Or should I be worried?

I don't know how to describe it he's acting like he desperately wants to sire pups. The other dog we have is spayed so it's not like she is in heat but he is acting like it. Constantly sniffing her privates, licking her pee outside, which he normally does but he's really persistent this week. I read that is how male dogs know if the female is ovulating or in heat, but can't he tell that she is sterile? And now hes regressed to humping dog toys and even once attempting to mount the girl dog who is twice his size and she doesn't always put up with him peacefully. At first I thought it was him trying to establish dominance, but now I'm really not sure. He's not neutered. I got him when I was still in high school so my dad called the shots on that one and didn't want him ball-less, i guess. I am seriously thinking about getting it done now.

I currently have a one year old female AB.Coincidentally, her brother from the litter last year is now available from his owners as they do not have time to adequately exercise the dog.We love our Macy and have met this dog before.His current owners describe him as being exactly the same as our current AB.We think it would be good to have two, but we are also busy and my girlfriend and I currently do not live together and probably not until October, which is 6 months from now.I'm wondering how other people feel about having two dogs?I know many people say its great, but I know its going to be more work and more money.Currently, both are crate trained as well, and I don't trust them to be out of the crate yet being so young and still mischievous.Will having two make this easier to leave them alone?

Yesterday as I was leaving for work I noticed that my dogs had forced our wire fence up from the bottom and created a small hole to escape through. I made a mental note to fix it after work but my friend went into labor and I was at the hospital all afternoon.
So this morning I wake up and my staffy was limping on her front left paw, I had a look and she had cut a deep gash into her paw pad, my brothers dog who is staying with me had also cut his paw pad in the same place. I've bandaged both paws and fixed the fence but the wire was rusty and old and their paws keep bleeding every now and then. Should i take them to the vets, they have got good bandages on them (Im a nurse so I have a good a supply) Is there anything more a vet could do?

So, I'm 17 and I'm a girl. There is this teacher. He's my maths teacher and he's 35 years old. I was wondering if our relationship is strange?
He's been my teacher for like 2 or 3 years. He helped me with a bunch of issues I had and we got really close. We both know heaps about each other, like personal stuff that you wouldn't usually know about people, let alone your teacher. We talk outside of class heaps, and we can talk together for ages. He has three dogs, and I take care of them on some weekends. He comes over to drop them off and we always talk and have tea together. The other day, he was passing by my house on a saturday and texting me, asking if he could come over to talk about an assignment. Everytime after he goes to leave my house, he always gives me a big hug. We have each others phone number and we text, but only about his dogs and drop off times. We've talked on facebook though, heaps of times, a lot of the time about pretty personal stuff. He is married though.
