Asked: How do people train their dogs to scartch on the door so that the owner can open it?

I remember going on a trip to Europe and we were just walking by these houses and all of a sudden a dog walks past in front of us and goes up to a door. Then after a few scratches on the corner it listens for it's owner's footsteps and then the owner opens the door for the dog.
I thought it was pretty cool and I'm wondering how long it takes to train your dog to do that.

Asked: a certificate of dog trainer obteined in italy, could be valid in USA?

I'm trying to get informations about how to became a dog trainer here in italy (i'm italian), but i dont know if the certificate i can get here in a future can be valid out of Europe, mostly in USA.

If it doesnt, where i could get the certificate in the States once i'll come there?

Asked: What should i do about my neighbors dogs ?

The neighbor on the right has a dog. The neighbor to the left has a dog. Two houses next to the left also have a dog. And some other houses (1 or 2 ) a little bit down the roud also has a dog. They all bark 24/7 and i think i am going insane literaly. I think they are driving me so crazy that one day i might do something that i could regret about it. I am studying (programming) and working on a big project, so i need quietness in order to concentrate. If i don't concentrate i can't do anything. Your not going to believe this but my neighbors to the right and left are both policeman. I don't know about the other houses. When one dog start barking they all start barking and it usualy lasts to about few hours. Sometimes they stop and then something happens ( for example a cat meows ) and they start barking again for hours. I haven't been able to do anything on my project for few days and i am running out of time and patient. I feel i might get mentaly unstable one of these days and kill them all. I tried talking to both policemans because i know them personally, the one to the right though that i was joking or something, he just started laughing saying ''you cant' help it, they are dogs !''. The one on the left said that he understand and he will try to do something. But nothing has changed. I don't know the people from the houses down the roud but my parents know them. I told my dad to do something, he of course didn't do anything. My mom is not that close with them so she can't do anything either. Instead they both (parents) starting yelling at me that i was just complaining all the time. I swear i don't know what to do anymore. I have nowhere else to go. I live in Europe, and the institutions here are not that responsible like in the US. So, even if i call animal abuse or someone else, nothing will happen. Not to mention that both neighbors are policemans. I hate and i oppose animal abuse but i am seriously starting to consider killing the dogs. Maybe not mebut i could pay someone else to do it. I don't know what else to do ? They are ruining my life. I can't work on my project, and i don't have much time. The more i waste time the harder it gets to concentrate and finish my project. I read about some CD that could make dogs stop barking but i somehow find it hard to believe. Has anyone ever used that ? Does it really work ?I hope someone can give me some advice or suggestion on what should i do. Thanks.

First.. we are not teens, we are adults. He is in his late 40s actually. I am 30. We are neighbors. Now you can backtrack and find old related posts about this with more info but I'll be a brief as possible. we have known each other about 7 weeks and talked maybe 8 times. We only talk when we are both outside and not busy. I can go a week or 2 without a word other than a smile or wave, so we give each other space. I asked him to help me work with a dog who I have who hates men and he happily said yes so I gave him my business card and said he could text me when he was ready to help. Now he said thanks and looked the card over well and then about 4 days later, he was outside mowing and said hi, smiled and waved 3 different times. all his initiation. So Friday night I saw him outside, he was busy doing something but I said hi, hows it going… anyway and it was the first time in weeks he said "No" to when i asked him if he wanted to pet my dog. He loves my dogs. He said his hands were dirty and they could of been since he was working. I asked him if he was still interested in helping with my dog sometime and he said "will she bite me? i got surgery on my hand june 4" then told me maybe later in june after it heeled. Now of course, being a over thinker and panicker, I heard "no" to petting my dog and suddenly everything was going bad in my mind, I worry I scared him now with my number and he is trying to avoid me… but then, I wonder, why did he wave and say hi and why offer up a date for your surgery? should I be concerned he hasn't texted? should i try to appologize for giving my number if it freaked him out? he never gave me his number either. i didnt ask for it though.
not sure what to do. i dont wanna ruin our great friendship and my dogs adore him… i want to leave a card wishing him well on his surgery because i am going to europe on tuesday for 2 weeks but worry it could scare him too?

*i do know he does text. i saw him texting someone the other day… he told me in the past he has unlimited texting but also said "i only text 2 people" * anyone? advice? feedback? no rude comments needed. just wanna know if i should be worried or if i am over thinking everything.

So i started talking (just on a friendly level) to a man who is about 35, i'm 24. We were attracted to each other from the moment we met, but we started things as friends. He spends time with me whenever he can, wether its saturday night or just for 5 mins before i leave work, and yes we have hooked up, 5 times total. the sex is great, and i always stay with him the whole night, he loves to cuddle with me, even in public, and hold my hand and all that stuff. But this last 2 times we had sex, it was VERY intimate, he stared straight into my eyes the whole time for like an hour, and put on really emotional music. I've never felt so connected to someone during sex. And he asked me to keep my eyes open for him. It was very slow, and sweet and sexy.. and just felt more like love making than sex.

He's also said he doesn't want any other women in his bed, almost like he wants a commitment, but i wasn't sure so i didn't respond necessarily. He also referred to me as his girl to his close friends before. Also, has mentioned the future with me in it, has even talked about kids and what he wants to name them as we were laying in bed talking for hours after we had sex one of the nights, while rubbing my stomach. mentioned teaching me how to ride a motorcycle when he gets one, and also was telling me about his plans to go to europe for a week or 2. he tells me things like where he's going without me ever having to ask him. He makes me coffee in the mornings and then this last time he took me home and sat there and waited for me at my house while i got ready for work just so he could give me a ride back to work too. He even walked MY ROOMMATES dog for me (she's out of town so i'm babysitting and didn't have time to walk it) while i was in the shower getting ready I think he's starting to cool down a little bit because of my lack of response to the things he's said, even though i'm 100% interested in pursuing something with this man, i just have my guard up. Now it seems he's retreating a little bit to protect himself as well, not sending me the sweet texts like he used to, but when we're together he's still the sweetest guy ever and still obviously very into me. Need some serious opinions here.. should i start to warm up to him more or will i scare him away? Does this guy seem genuine? I'm already attached to him.. How would I begin to even approach him on the topic? I don't need to rush to put a label on it but i want him to know how much im into him and want to know exactly where his head is at.
