Asked: How to handle the apartment manager?

We live in a rental apartment where the leasing office is located below our house. This is a pretty old apartment & we can hear all small sounds from the nearby houses. I even hear giggling & talking sounds from the lady manager who used to be sitting in the office below. I never bothered about the sounds. I even hear dogs barking often from the neighbour's homes. Since we have a small dog, I never mind them too. I also have twin babies who are 17 months old. This lady manager is a complaint box. She used to visit my home & usually tell some complaints like
Don't keep the dog bowl in the floor
Don't keep food items in the table
Don't open the balcony door during winter (they provide free heater)
Don't allow your dog to bark
These are some things that sounds silly. Let me come to the point. She made our neighbour's family to vacate coz their downstairs lady complained that their one year old boy was crying a lot and that disturbes them (silly!). And now our lease is getting over in June. Moreover, it seems like there's a demand for these apartments since the summer is approaching. The newcomers will be paying extra amount of rent than ours. So, she's trying to get rid of us & trying 2 bring a newcomer in our house. She just called today and said that our dog is barking and she couldn't tolerate the disturbance ( p.s our dog is so calm that he barks only once or twice a day). She also said that we may vacate the apartment and there are new persons who are ready to move in immediately.

This made me so much irritating since there was no valid reason to make us vacate the house. Our dog hardly barks & all other neighbour's dogs barks even louder than this. I don't understand her problem. What should I do at this point? Should I silently vacate obeying her or should I argue & stay in the same house. This house is not worth of arguing( too old with small rooms). Can I not do anything to make her feel bad? Please advice.

So usual day wake up early, fight with my dad to wake him up for a ride to school. Exams where today sitting alone my best friend is having family problems and dealing with her mom who has thyroid cancer so she couldn't go to school. I have a group of friends who I dont really have my back so I try to avoid. After a long day of exams projects and being lonely. My dad picks me up. I told him I was hungry so he took me to McDonald's. After we got home i left a burger on the bed my dog got into in but just the box. He got really mad and slapped my shoulder. I am really now just tired of being abused by him. Always hitting me. I got my confidience up and called him a bad word. I never did that ever. He called my mom. Told her everything even told her that I was going to keep calling him that. LIE! Then I got tired once again and told him how I felt. He took of his belt and hit my legs. Nothing unusual. My legs numb in pain. I couldn't say anything. Silience just pure silience. My tears just streaming down my face. locked up in my room all day. Usual Day. Tears tears and tears all day wishing to die soon. Thinking about my best guy friend who moved out of town. How I miss him. He was my buddy. Now I have no one to talk to. Just me. In deep depression. No one caring about me.

So this would be a story I am planning to write on Wattpad. This would be like a teaser. I don't know if it would be too much do you think it would make a good story?

My family is having a reunion in three months, and the drive there will take about two days. My family and me have taken car rides before, but none exceeding two hours. I've notices this for about a week, now. he is a bloodhound/pitbull mix, (his brother is mixed with Dalmatian, so who knows gat else they have in them.) he's almost 1 year old. he has never had any other problems, aside from worms as a pup. however his brother, is allergic to immunizations and has a history of tremors. we feed them puppy chow or healthy morsels and give them clean water daily. they stay outside during the day, as I'm in school during the week. I noticed the smell very strongly this morning. his urine is also VERY yellow. I mean, bright yellow. you can see it clearly in the mud. I've read that giving them AZO pills can help, but I don't wanna try anything that might damage him further. we don't have the means to visit our vet right now, but I am going to take a sample to him sometime tomorrow. if anyone could help, I'd surely appreciate it. please, don't be rude. these dogs are my babies & I'm only trying to help them.

I have room for one more pet as my little Thomas died six months ago.Two of my pets are from shelters and one is a stray I found eight years ago.I'm all about shelters and no breeders.But the Dilemma I found myself in years ago was which shelter to go to.I am always torn between a no kill shelter and animal control.I would always want to support a no kill shelter and would feel good about my adoption fees going there but on the other hand the animals in animal control have 72 hours usually before they are killed.It took me over a year to find the right cat for our family by just repeatedly going to different shelters in the area until the cat with the perfect personality finally arrived.Either way, this time I am looking to adopt another dog.Should I keep my search in one type of shelter or another?Should I focus on supporting the no kill shelters and rescues or should I focus on the high kill animal control?

Asked: My dog died, and I need someone to talk to?

She was only 5 years old. About a month ago me and my family moved from another city, we lived in an apartment so we asked somebody to take care of our dog. Over the weeks we've noticed she has been losing weight and just yesterday it was to the point that she looked severely anorexic. So we went to the vet, most likely the owner we sent her to has been neglecting her. She was very very sick, she was dehydrated, had fluids in her stomach and was extremely low in protein. The doctor said she was most likely gonna die throughout the process of treating her. After a long emotional discussion with the family, we thought it would be best to let her go..

I just can't stand my stupidity, I should've done something earlier, this dog is my best friend, and she has been my best friend ever since day one. She was suffering with dehydration and she wasn't eating properly for A WHOLE MONTH! And I let that happen.. What did She ever do to deserve me? She deserved to live her full life, I just can't believe it has to end now. Anyways thanks for reading this, I just needed someone to understand, not my friends because that will just bring more tears in my eyes.

My female Labrador retriever is only 3 months old and is being very aggressive. She snaps and barks at me when I try to pick up or pet her. She just started doing this and I'm very concerned. Asked: Why aren’t American families very close?

Mostly white families, though I know it's simply a cultural thing. I'm sorry if I come out racist. I'm white, but I'm from Russia. We have… very close family bonds here, or at least most of us do.

When I came to America years back, I noticed a lot of families here just let their kids wander around like crazy outside. My family and others were very protective of their children, so I found it odd. I also find it very horrible how so many Americans just give away their elders to old homes. I personally could never put my grandmother in a home, ever. I'm too close, and I love her too much. She lives with us. Even if we were poor, we would never just give her up like some kind of useless dog. They don't really support their other family members. Like, for example, a friend of mine who is American had to live on the street with her family. They didn't even think to ask their relatives to stay until they got back on their feet, because they knew they wouldn't let them stay in their house for more than a few weeks. It was very sad.

I see this only in some Americans (NOT ALL).

But people in Asia, India, Europe have very close knit families, so why don't a lot of Americans?

My family and I recently moved into a house, the process was smooth we even get along so well with our landlord that they've invited us to their new home in the country. But not even within a month we started to have problem with this old lady that lives in front of us, other neighbors even told us to watch out for her cause she causes problems, problems as in calling the city and police on us for stupid things. Loud music at 5pm!, bikes on our front lawn, for a "suspicious" car in our driveway which was a family friend putting his daughter in her carseat, for my dog being outside…the list goes on just naming a few so yall can see where im coming from. And so my question is can I sue someone for "snitching" or being all in our business like that?
