I have a 2 year old female beagle named Eva. My husband and I have had her for about 4 months now and we can tell she's loving her life. She gets run of the house all day while we're at work. Food, water, treats, toys, etc. We walk her every night after work but the rest of the time, she stares at us and follows us around the house like she wants us to entertain her. We will play with her and toss her toys and stuff to fetch but she gets bored with it after about 10 minutes. Then she starts the staring again. Am I missing something here? How can I get her to entertain herself? Sometimes if she's really bored she walks around the house whining and we try to make her happy but I feel like we're not getting what it is that she actually wants us to do.

My dog is 11 years old, he cant eat dry food because hes got bad teeth, hes already fractured 2 and had to have them pulled. Hes always had health problems, he was a rescue that was found with a litter of puppies tossed on the side of the road in a garbage bag, when we adopted him he was 4 weeks old very malnourished, 2 broken front legs, and completely hairless. He has arthritis, joint problems, and allergies. We are out of canned food because we are between paychecks currently. Even if i wet his dry food he still wont eat it. What else can i give him? He only gets fed twice a day and he wouldn't eat any off it. we gave him some of our dinner which was chicken and rice. What should i feed him today? I thought about making him some scrambled eggs and tearing up the left over chicken with a piece of bread tore up in it with this dog gravy we got from the store.

I took him to the vet and he said he was fine just maybe got hurt while playing with my other dogs. He did need to remove one of his nails because his nail got hurt in the process. Everything is healing good except for the swollen paw. The vet said it would take time to heal. However I feel that this is a painful time for my dog. I should mention he is a well trained pitbull and is normally very active but I am keeping him inside to prevent more injuries that he could acquire while playing.

Does anybody know what could help along with the process so that the swollen paw will get better and he can return to his normal self? Is there some type of remedy I can repair for him and put in on his paw to help the healing process along?
