Cheesesticks Asked: Would this make you as angry as it makes me?
My mother likes to fake sick. It's almost like she does it just so she can get a vacation stay at the hospital. My mother goes to the E.R around once or twice every 3-6 months. Last night she did it again and it was her usual complaint of chest pain and thinking she was having a heart attack. Now I know I sound like a terrible person for questioning my mother when she says something is wrong with her that could possibly take her life but I can't help but get annoyed because I know it is BS. She'll be complaining about having a heart attackone second and then be screaming on the phone like a rabid dog to my dad (her ex-husband) on the phone because she thinks he's at his girlfriends house. That doesn't sound like someone who is dying to me. What I don't understand is why the hospital continues to admit her, (I suppose it has something to do with the fact that she is on Medicaid). They know that she is faking because she was just there two days ago with the same "symptoms" and they did all the tests and she was fine. Why do they entertain her? It just frustrates me because she scares my younger brother into thinking he's loosing his mother and creates all this unnecessary drama just for the sake of getting attention. Would you be as irritated as I am if your mother behaved like this?

Fame Over Demise Asked: Is this considered animal abuse?
Theres a dog around the neighborhood and its always allowed outside to roam around. its get really cold at night, freezing, yet the dog is still outsid., wandering. the dog is tiny and shaved so it has to be cold. just now the dog was close to being hit by a car. i know for a fact that it belongs to someone a few doors down. i feel so sorry for it. it isnt right to leave a tiny dog wandering around a neighborhood in freezing weather, in danger of being hit.
Lizzie Asked: Is this a staph infection?
My dog Tanner has been itching like crazy recently. Mostly on his belly but on his side and back too. New spots keep popping up. The spots are really red and he scratches and bites at them all the time. We called the vet yesterday and described the spots and they said it sounded like a staph infection. We made an appointment for tomorrow, but I'm just wondering how serious a staph infection is? And what is the treatment for it? Thanks!

falcoaesolon Asked: Can anyone help me fix a deadbolt lock?
My back door is a big, glass monstrosity with a built-in deadbolt. To open the deadbolt you have to unlock the door and push the handle down. It doesn't do anything until the handle is pushed down. Well, I was trying to lock it after bringing the dog in and felt something slip. I opened the door and worked the lock to see if there was something amiss and now the deadbolt is stuck. With the door open. So I can't shut my back door at all. I took the handle off but don't see anything that could help me with it. Any suggestions?

SarahElizabeth Asked: how to wash suede boots?
i got some really expensive black suede boots for chrismas last year and i love them. they still fit and look brand new because i've been taking care of them. but when i wore them to a friends house a few days ago, her dog or cat peed on one of them. i didn't wear them home so i just realized it today when i went to put them on and smelled it. is there any way to wash it without damaging it?or at least get the urine out of them? these were really expensive and a gift so i really don't want to have to throw them away…
