Paige Asked: How to-broken bird leg?
Okay, so my mom found… well, I guess that's not right. She saw a pigeon being attacked by some crows. It was being pecked at and dive-bombed, and it was 2 stories up when it smashed into the building and fell to the ground. Obviously it's a little bruised and battered. So besides the broken feathers and mass panic, it actually looks okay-tough little guy. But the deal is that it can't walk. One leg is stuck straight out and the other can bend and hide in its feathers perfectly fine… but is it supposed to be able to move? And if it's the one sticking straight out that's broken, how do I fix it? I read that bones broken near the joint are harder to mend but I can't take it to the vet (I'm 15, I don't have any money to pay for it…and there's no way my parents will when we don't even take our pets in to get their shots.) and if I take it to the humane society they'll just kill it. I need to be able to fix it with what ever I already have at home- Popsicle sticks, scissors, gauze, peroxide, tape, band-aids, liquid skin, straws, and other common household things. I have no experience with birds this size, only the chickens on my grandparents farm, so the most I know how to do is hold it properly and how to keep it from pooping all over my pants. I'd also like to know how to feed and water it, and why is is panting even after it's spent the night here and it's safe? It's alive, I wasn't expecting it to live through the night because it might have internal damage but it did, and has tried to move around in its box. I know I need to put a splint on it but how? My mom will help me if we need 2 people but I can't even afford a slurpee let alone a veterinarian bill. Help me and little Pigeotto out! D: (yes, I'm naming it after a pokemon. lol.) It looks a lot like this one http://kreepykritterz.com/images/saskato but it's scared so the neck feathers are all puffed up and its head is all pushed into its shoulders. How do I check for other injuries, too? none of the ribs or wing bones felt broken and the bird only reacted when I tried to look at its legs but I'm not an expert and I really want to help this bird… even though everyone thinks they're nasty and covered in disease, they're no dirtier that any other bird that lives in the wild and it deserves a chance at life just the same as any other living creature-just because it doesn't have a designated place to poop doesn't mean its life holds any less meaning than a budgie, dog, or even a human! So please no one tell me to just throw it out of my garage and let the cat get it. Because I'm not that kind of person.

olivamy214 Asked: Should I keep this kitten?
Well I have three grown cats I've had for a few years, the oldest is about 9 or 10 years old and the youngest is about 3-4 years old. The younger ones go outside most the time.
I am a big animal lover (cats especially) and went through a phase when I was younger where I had ALOT of animals lol. We also have two small toy poodles. Lately I have been coming across instances where I saved a cat from the street, and a friend on facebook was giving away kittens. My parents were hesitant about keeping them because they were afraid they might give the other cats diseases.
Then yesterday I was in the mall and decided to go look at the pets for fun. And since I'm 19 and old enough I thought it would be ok to just go and hold a kitten. So much for that! When I was leaving the pet store I could see the kitten watching me leave! Haha so I ended up calling my mom and she came up to the mall and we bought it.
Since it was so spur of the moment I'm kind of wondering if that was a bad idea since I still live with my parents and we alread have 3 cats. But one of our old dogs just passed away and I had been wanting a kitten for a while.
What do you think?
Kelly Asked: Whats on my dogs chest?
My dogs chest it has like lots of bumps on it. And when you pop the bumps by squishing it, yellow gush comes out. Like if you pop a pimple. Could the bumps be flea bites? Btw, my dog is a dachshund.
