My dogs ( a Rottweiler, a Silky Terrier, and a Lhasa) all get along just great.My husband is the major disciplinarian, but we both feed them, and care for them.I am the 'pamper mommy', but my husband plays with all of the dogs each day.Each of them prefers to be with me wherever I go in the house.If I sit on the porch, if I am in the yard, if I am in any part of the house — they are with me and not my husband.I wonder if I am REALLY the alpha in this pack.If given a preference — they will be with me -not my hubby. Any insights?

I beleive that this is most likely because you are not their Alpha?
For example, I know they play and all, but would you like to spend time with your boss?
I don't think so, and think this is just natural.
it's either that or they like you a lot too.

You are the Alpha.But keep on letting your hubby think he's the Alpha. It makes him feel good.

Probably because you are the "mommy"My husband is also the disciplinarian, i try to be but it doesn't work sometimes :.When one of the dogs do something wrong they run over to me like I am going to protect them. Which I sometimes do..-_-..Even though they have never gotten beat, just scolded at.

I love all animals & i absolutely cannot think of an animal i don't like . By far though i pick a cat they are cuddly & adorable . People say cats don't do anything but sit around but that is not true at all.
