I recently began working on a new dog walking business, and was wondering if YOU would hire a 13 y/o to walk your dog.
Also, I know that for a lot of people it depends on the responsibility of the kid in question, as well as how personal you are with them. However, I'd just like a general answer for a 13 old who has a passion for animals, has had a dog for 5 years, and has good experiences with dogs. You should also know that I am very serious about this; I've done everything from websites to business cards.

i would hire a young 13 year old before anyone else. a good experience for the kid and its not a hard job so i really feel 13 year olds should be the only acceptable person for that job

I would have to meet them and gain some grounds of trust. I wouldn't give my dog to a stranger, even for a quick walk around the block.

I personally wouldn't.You haven't been training, even though you had a dog for 5 years.You haven't really been training with different types of dogs and many dogs at once.I would rather walk my own dog or spend more to know that my dog is in good hands.You are still a child, and I'm sure that some dogs weigh more than you and can drag you away.Try when you're 16 or 17, then I would think about it.Aw, it's really good that you put the effort in though.If I saw these and if I knew you better, maybe I would consider it.Try to walk the dogs of people who know you well and like you. I hope it works out and I hope I could help!

Frankly, it depends on the kid. But from your description, yeah, I would go for it, I mean, I would go for a 13 year old who has a passion for animals, has had a dog for 5 years and has good experiences with dogs. It's worth a shot, right?
